Third-party Facebook apps soon to access addresses, phone numbers
Very, very bad move for Facebook. I'm concerned that they are willing to not only allow this to happen, but to encourage it. And I know that a user has to give permission in order for the third party app to access the information, but most users don't pay attention to these things and will be unknowingly be giving up their personal information.
But what troubles me more is what's coming next. I believe that this will evolve into an involuntary service, one in which Facebook gives up your information with or without your consent; it is the next natural thing to do.
I won't be a part of it. If I wanted to give third party companies my information, I would have previously. Again, bad move for Facebook.
