The Motivation Behind "Simply Complex"

So I was going to do an "About Me", but I thought, "Who cares?". Maybe if you all request one, I'll write it, but I feel through the things that I post, you can get a good idea of who I am.
What I will share is the reason behind "Simply Complex" and how I see it moving.

To be honest with you all, I was apprehensive of beginning this blog and putting myself out there; once you become open, you leave yourself unguarded to fair and unfair criticisms, hate, and jealousy. However, one of the reasons I decided to go through with it is because it presents a stage that I and my readers can be ourselves on. Too often kids are told what they can't do with no alternative. I hope to bring those kids out of hiding and show them that they can do whatever they want to, with the right motivation.
I know that's cliche and "Aww...", but I'm for real. I want people to be comfortable enough to be themselves.

Also, I began this in order to give poets and writers a place to present their material for those who enjoy poetry and literature. I, again, used to post on MySpace and Facebook, but the audience was too narrow. I believe that this venue has the potential to reach more people.

Lastly, I launched "Simply Complex" to give an in depth analysis of who I am in a more holistic manner. I write, I read, I play, I record, I laugh, I cry, I hurt, and I have joy. "Simply Complex" is what I am; my analytical mind touches many, many subjects and avenues. However, I hope to convey my opinions, concerns, and advice in a way for those who listen to benefit.

Now I can't do this without you all, as this is a group effort. Let me say that again. I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU ALL. This blog is for you and for me. I know you all look forward to getting something out of it, but I too hope to be inspired, intrigued, and informed.

So if it sounds like something you're interested in, LET'S GET IT! If you don't think this is for you, thank you for your time ^_^.
